Copy equipment to another bay or location

The second tunnel holds the same pumps as the first. Copy the bay you've already built instead of adding twenty items by hand.

What you'll need

• Only Admins and Super Admins can copy equipment.
• At least one bay somewhere in your company with equipment in it.

Copy a bay's equipment

To copy equipment:

1. Select My Wash in the side menu, then any bay.
2. Select the caret beside Add Equipment, then Duplicate from Another Bay.
3. Under From, search for and select the bay you're copying. Every bay in your company is listed, grouped by location.
4. Under Into, tick each bay that should receive a copy. You can tick bays at more than one location.
5. Set the three Include with equipment switches, then select the arrow to review.
6. Check the Will be duplicated summary, then select Duplicate items.

Each destination gets its own copy, in the same order as the source bay.

Copy into a bay that doesn't exist yet

You don't have to create the bay first. On the Into step, each location offers a new bay of its own: tick it, type a Bay / Area Name, and WashUp creates the bay and fills it in one go.

Choose what comes with the equipment

The equipment record itself always copies, whatever the switches say.

What copies and what doesn't

Name, the equipment type, Manufacturer, Model and Notes come across. Serial Number and Install Date are blank on every copy, because they describe one physical unit.

Archived equipment is never copied. Neither are inspection-only custom items.
