Contact UsSet progress and priority, assign an owner, keep notes on the timeline, send the issue to a vendor, and find it again once it's resolved.
An open issue needs an owner, an urgency, and a record of what's been tried. All three live on the item's detail page.
To update an item:
Each choice saves as soon as you make it, and lands on the timeline as a dated entry. There's no Save button.
To undo either, reopen the dropdown and choose Remove Priority or Remove Assignment.
Select Timeline & Activity. The Add Note box at the top takes text, and Add Attachments takes photos, videos, and PDFs. Select the send arrow to post it.
Below that, the feed shows everything that's happened on the item, newest first: the original report, every field change, and every note, each with who did it and when.
Use the ⋮ menu on a note to Edit or Delete it. You can always manage your own notes; Admins and Super Admins can manage anyone's.
If the first description was wrong or thin, select Edit in the Issue Reported section to change the message and its attachments. That one is Admin and Super Admin only, since it's the record of what was found.
Your brush supplier needs to see the damage before they'll quote it.
To email an item:
You don't write a subject line. WashUp builds one naming the item, the wash bay, the location and who sent it. Replies come back to you rather than to WashUp, so a vendor can just hit reply. Recipients don't need a WashUp login, and attachments go as links rather than files.
Print and Export PDF in the Actions menu both open the same Print Preview page: the item, its status, the reported issue with photos, the details grid and the activity timeline.
Tick Exclude Timeline & Activity for just the issue itself, which is usually what a vendor needs, then select Print / Save as PDF.
Resolved items drop off All Attention Items. To see them, select See Resolved History in the toolbar.
Each day gets a Resolved heading with its date, and under it every item closed that day, showing the item name, its wash bay, and Resolved by with the person and time. Select a row to open the full item, resolution note and photos included.
Search resolved history... matches on the item, and Filters adds Sort By, Wash Bay/Area and Resolved By. The grouping uses the date somebody entered when resolving, not the day they selected the button, so a backdated fix files under the day the work actually happened.
Only if their own notification settings say so. Assigning, changing Progress, and adding a note all land on the item's timeline with your name.
Yes, until the item is resolved. After that every field is read-only.
Anyone at the location can set Progress and Priority, add notes, email, and print. Assigning and changing the Status are for Admins and Super Admins.
