Manage your Service Partner team

Manage your Service Partner team

Add Admins and Technicians, assign them to customers, and deactivate the ones who leave—all from Settings > Users and Roles.

September 28, 2026

Your people live in your own workspace, not in a customer's account. Add them, pick their role, and choose which customers each one covers.

What you'll need

  • Only Service Partner Admins manage the team. Technicians see only the My Account part of Settings.
  • Every new person has to be assigned to at least one customer before you can add them.

Add a team member

To add a team member:

  1. Select Settings in the user menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Under Organization, select Users and Roles.
  3. Select Add New User.
  4. Enter First Name, Last Name, Email Address and, if you have it, Phone.
  5. Under Role, choose Service Partner Admin or Service Partner Technician.
  6. Open Assign to Companies and tick every customer this person covers.
  7. Select Add User.

WashUp emails them a link to set up their own account. Until they finish they show as Pending Setup with the days remaining, and the invitation runs out after 30 days.

Resend or cancel an invitation

Select the person's row to open their page. Resend Invite sends the email again; Delete Invite removes them from the organization.

Deactivate and restore

To deactivate someone:

  1. Select their row on the Active Users tab.
  2. Select Deactivate and confirm.

They can't sign in after that, and they move to the Deleted Users tab, where Restore brings them back. Their email address can't be reused until they're restored.

Good to know
  • The Account Owner can't be deactivated and has to stay a Service Partner Admin. Move ownership first under Transfer Ownership.
  • A team member's page has Copy Password Reset Link, good for 72 hours, for anyone locked out of their account.
  • Export downloads the roster as a CSV with each person's Name, Email, Role, Companies and Status.

Common questions

Who can do this?

Only Service Partner Admins. A Technician's Settings holds their own profile and assigned customers.

Can I undo deactivating someone?

Yes. Deactivated people can be restored, so use it rather than trying to remove someone outright.

Can I change someone's role later?

Yes, with one exception: the Account Owner has to stay a Service Partner Admin. Move ownership first.
