Log In As drops you into a customer's WashUp so you can work in it. You keep your own account the whole time—you're not signing in as one of their people, and you never need their password.
What you'll need
- A Service Partner Admin or Service Partner Technician account.
- WashUp has to have authorized your organization for that customer. A Technician also needs an assignment to it.
- The customer needs at least one set-up location. Without one you get This company has no set-up locations to work in yet.
Log in to a customer account
To log in as a customer:
- Select Home in the sidebar.
- Select the customer's row in the Dashboard table.
- Select Log In As in the upper-right corner of the customer's page.
You land on the customer's dashboard. A Technician gets only the locations they're assigned to in the location picker; an Admin gets all of them.
Leave the customer account
To go back to your own workspace:
- Open the side menu.
- Select Log Out.
NoteInside a customer account, Log Out exits the customer and returns you to your own Dashboard. It doesn't sign you out of WashUp.
Good to know- Your access is re-checked on every page. If the customer's authorization ends while you're inside, you're returned to your Dashboard with Your access to that customer has ended.
- Chat, Incidents and the Employee Scheduler don't appear, even at a customer who has them switched on.
- The customer's company settings—creating, deleting or deactivating the company itself—stay closed to you.
Common questions
Can I be in two customers at once?
No. Your session holds one customer at a time, so opening a second replaces the first.
Will the customer know I was there?
Yes. Anything you do is credited to you by name, with your organization shown alongside it.
Who can do this?
Service Partner Admins for any authorized customer, and Technicians for the customers they're assigned to.
