Dashboard

Intro to the Dashboard

Monitor and manage your car wash from anywhere. The Dashboard is the first screen you see, and it shows what still needs doing today.

September 29, 2026

Monitor and manage your car wash from anywhere. The Dashboard is what WashUp opens on, and it answers one question: what still needs doing at this location today.

What you'll need

  • The Dashboard isn't a module you switch on. It's there for everyone, on every plan.
  • Everyone sees it, Team Members included.

What is the Dashboard?

It's the whiteboard by the office door, kept current by the app instead of by whoever walked past it last. Four counts across the top, then the list of what's behind those counts underneath.

Nothing on it is new information. It's everything already sitting in Inspections, Services, Tasks, and Incidents, pulled forward so nobody has to open four screens to find out where the day stands.

What you can do with the Dashboard

  • See what's critical, what's past due, and what's still open at a glance.
  • Jump straight into the item that needs work instead of hunting for it.
  • Hand over a shift without a five-minute conversation.
  • Check a location you're not standing in.

The four cards

CardFirst countSecond countView All opens
InspectionsCriticalNeeds AttentionAll Attention Items

IncidentsUnder ReviewIn Progressyour incidents list

The numbers are colored: Red when the first count is above zero and something needs handling now, Yellow when the second count is above zero and something is coming, and Green when a count is at zero and there's nothing waiting.

Action Items

Below the cards, Action Items lists the first 3 rows behind each card, with a "Viewing 3 of 12" count beside the heading so you know how much is underneath.

  • Inspection shows the open attention items: Item, Wash Bay, Reported, Assigned To, and Status.
  • Service shows what's past due and what's coming up.
  • Tasks shows today's past due and incomplete work, with the list each one belongs to.
  • Incidents shows the claims still under review or in progress.

  2. Complete tasks and time windows
  3. Work an attention item

Common questions

Can I see every location on one Dashboard?

No. The Dashboard covers the location you have selected. Use the location picker to move between them.

Who can do this?

Anyone at the location. The Dashboard isn't limited by role, though Insights is Admins and Super Admins only.

Do the numbers update on their own?

Yes. The Dashboard reads your live records, so completing work elsewhere in WashUp changes the counts.
