Contact UsNo alerts, or an unread count that never moves? Work through the conversation's mute setting, the company chat switch, and your device settings.
Messages arriving in Chat but nothing telling you about them is nearly always one of a few settings, stacked on top of each other.
Check whether you muted it. Open the conversation, select Chat settings, and look at the mute option. If it reads Unmute, that chat is muted for you and nobody else.
Muting stops the notification, not the message, so the conversation still updates when you open it.
The Chat Push Notifications switch under Settings, then Notifications, covers your whole company. With it off, nobody at your company gets chat push.
It's worth knowing that this switch does more than silence alerts: with it off, the unread count on the chat icon stops refreshing too. That's why the badge can sit at the same number all day while messages keep arriving.
Anyone can turn it back on, and it saves the moment you flip it.
WashUp can only send a notification your device is willing to show. Open your device settings, find WashUp in the notifications list, and allow notifications for it.
Your session still holds the locations you had when you signed in, so a new location chat won't appear until you sign out and back in.
Being taken off a location removes you from that location's chat straight away. Being removed from a group chat does the same. Ask an Admin to check your location assignments under Settings, then Assigned Locations.
Chat shows new messages as they come in while you have it open. The count on the header icon refreshes on its own every few seconds rather than instantly, so a short lag there is normal.
