My Wash

I archived equipment by mistake

Unarchive it from the item's Actions menu. The item and its history come back, but its inspection and service connections have to be rebuilt by hand.

September 29, 2026

Unarchive the item and it comes back with its record, photo, files, and history intact. What doesn't come back is what it was attached to—archiving cut its inspections and its service schedules, and restoring the item doesn't restore those. You rebuild them by hand.

Unarchive the item first

Admins and Super Admins only.

An archived item is left out of every equipment picker in WashUp, so nothing else can be fixed until it's back on the active list.

To unarchive it:

  1. Select My Wash in the side menu, then the bay it was in.
  2. Select Archived in with the bay's name, below the equipment list.
  3. Select the item's name.
  4. Select Actions, then Unarchive Equipment.
  5. Select Yes, Unarchive Equipment.

The Archived badge goes and the item is back in the bay's list.

Check what archiving stopped

Open the item's History tab and find the Archived this equipment entry. Under Also stopped it names what went: scheduled services removed, service schedules archived, inspection items removed, and open issues left unresolved. That's your rebuild list.

Put it back on its inspections

Archiving took the item off every inspection that checked it, and unarchiving doesn't put it back. If the top brush was on your morning tunnel walkthrough, that list is now one item short.

Open the inspection, select Edit List, then Add Inspection Item, and pick the item on the My Wash Equipment tab. It only appears there once the item is unarchived.

Rebuild its service schedules

Archiving removed the upcoming occurrences and archived the schedule behind them, and there's no undo for a schedule. Create the service against the item again with the frequency it had before. Completed service records were never touched and are still in the item's History.
