How to reset your PIN

Introduction

If you’ve forgotten your PIN or want to change it for peace of mind, this guide makes it quick and easy to reset your PIN.

Step 1: Accessing Your Security Options

1. Sign in to your WashUp account.
2. Click on your profile located in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar.
3. Select Security from the settings menu.

Step 2: Forgot Your PIN?

1. Click Forgot PIN? in the top-right corner.
2. Enter your account password when prompted to verify your identity.
3. Enter your new PIN, then confirm it.
4. Click Reset PIN to finalize the change.

Step 3: Changing Your Current PIN

1. In the Security settings, enter your current PIN.
2. Enter your new PIN and confirm it in the respective fields.
3. Click Update PIN to save your changes.

Important Notes & Tips
- Choose a PIN that’s easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess. Avoid obvious combinations like 1234, 0000, or your birth year.
- For added security, consider changing your PIN every 90 days.
- Never share your PIN with other users.
- Your PIN is especially important when a location uses Location Login, allowing quick and secure user switching on shared devices.
