Reset your password

Select Forgot Password? on the sign-in page and WashUp emails you a link. The link works for 72 hours. If you're already signed in and just want a new password, change it in Settings > Security instead.

What you'll need

• The email address on your WashUp account. If you sign in on a shared tablet with a PIN, you want Reset your PIN instead.

Reset a password you've forgotten

To reset your password:

1. On the sign-in page, select Forgot Password?
2. Enter your email address and select Reset.
3. Open the email from WashUp and select the reset link.
4. Enter your new password, confirm it, and save.

If no email arrives, check your spam folder. WashUp shows the same confirmation either way, so a typo looks like success.

Change a password you still know

You need to be signed in.

To change your password:

1. Select your name in the lower-left corner, then Settings.

   If you don't see it, open the side menu first.

2. Select Security.
3. Enter your Current password. The new password fields turn on once it's correct.
4. Enter your New password and Confirm new password.
5. Select Update password.

The new password has to be at least 8 characters and different from your current one.

Send someone else a reset link

Admins and Super Admins only.

To copy a reset link:

1. Go to Settings > Users and Roles and open the person.
2. Under Admin Actions, select Copy Password Reset Link.
3. Paste it into a text or an email to them.

The link expires in 72 hours. It doesn't show for someone who hasn't finished setting up their account—resend their invitation instead.
