How to reset your password

If you’ve forgotten your WashUp password or need to reset it for security reasons, this guide will walk you through the process step by step. You’ll learn how to request a password reset and create a new, secure password for your account.

Step 1: Accessing Password Reset

1. Navigate to the WashUp login page.
2. Click Forgot Password? below the login form.

Step 2: Requesting a Password Reset

1. Enter your email address in the Email field.
2. Click Send Reset Link to receive password reset instructions.

Step 3: Checking Your Email

1. Check your email inbox for a message from WashUp.
2. Look for an email with a subject line containing Password Reset.
3. If you don’t see the email, check your spam or junk folder.

Step 4: Resetting Your Password

1. Click the reset link in the email (this link expires after 24 hours).
2. You’ll be redirected to a password reset page.
3. Enter your new password in the New Password field.
4. Confirm your new password in the Confirm Password field.
5. Click Reset Password to save your new password.

1. Return to the WashUp login page.
2. Sign in using your email and new password.

Important Notes & Tips
- Password reset links expire after 24 hours for security reasons.
- Create a strong password with at least 8 characters, including uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Avoid reusing passwords from other accounts.
- Consider using a password manager to generate and store secure passwords.
- If you don’t receive the reset email within 10 minutes, check your spam folder or try again.
