Your insurer wants an asset list. Your vendor wants to know what's in the tunnel. Both come out of the bay's Options menu.
What you'll need
- Available on the Bundle plan, or on a Custom plan that includes Inspections or Services.
- Anyone at the location can export. You don't need to be an Admin.
Export a bay as a spreadsheet
To download a CSV:
- Select My Wash in the side menu, then the bay.
- Select Options, then Export CSV.
The file matches the list as you're looking at it, so sort or search first and the export follows. That's the one to use when you're pulling data into your own spreadsheet.
Export or print a bay as a PDF
To get a printable list:
- Select My Wash in the side menu, then the bay.
- Select Options, then Export PDF.
- Tick Exclude history if you only want the current list.
- Select Print / Save as PDF.
The document is headed Equipment List with the bay's name beneath it. Your browser's print dialog handles both printing it and saving it as a file.
Export one piece of equipment
For a single item rather than a whole bay, open it and use Actions, then Print or Export PDF. Both open the same preview, which carries the item's details and history.
Good to know- The CSV comes from the list on screen, so an active search or sort changes what you get. Clear both for the full bay.
- Exports cover one bay at a time. A whole site means one export per bay.
- The CSV you export isn't the same shape as the import template, so don't expect to export from one bay and import straight into another. Use Duplicate from Another Bay for that.
Common questions
Who can do this?
Anyone at the location. Exporting isn't limited to Admins.
Can I import the file back in?
No. The export isn't shaped like the import template. To reuse a setup at another site, copy the bay instead.
Does this affect my other locations?
No. An export covers one bay at the location you're in, and downloading it changes nothing in WashUp.
