An incident isn't finished when you log it. The status, the assignee, and the notes all sit on the same form, and one Save commits the lot.
To update an incident:
The assignee gets an email and a push notification, and so does everyone at the location subscribed to that status change. Assigned To lists the people assigned to this location, and it's the one field on the form you can leave blank.
To add a note:
Each note is stamped with the time and the person who wrote it, and stacks above the box. Photos and video show as thumbnails you can open full size; a PDF or a document shows as a tile anyone can download.
Mostly. A status or assignee change can be set back at any time. A deleted note is gone for good.
Anyone at the location can change the status, assign an owner, and add notes. Only the person who wrote a note can edit or delete it.
