Tasks

Manage and reorder your task lists

The Task Library holds every list at this location. Reorder them so the day reads top to bottom, and duplicate or delete one from its own menu.

September 29, 2026

Opening, mid-shift, closing. Your lists should sit in the order the day actually runs, and the Task Library is where you put them that way.

What you'll need

  • Only Admins and Super Admins change lists. Team Members can read the library but not edit it.
  • Open it with Tasks in the side menu, then Task Library.

Put your lists in order

To reorder your task lists:

  1. Select Tasks in the side menu, then Task Library.
  2. Select Rearrange Lists.
  3. Drag each list into the order you want. Routine and situational lists are grouped separately.
  4. Select Save Changes.

The order you set is the order your team sees on the Tasks page, so a closing checklist below an opening one reads the way the shift goes.

Work on a single list

Each list's card has a three-dot menu with two things in it:

  • Duplicate copies the list to your other sites. See Duplicate a task list between locations.
  • Delete removes the list.

Select the list's name instead to open it and edit its tasks.

NoteDeleting a list takes its historical data and completion records with it, and every task in it goes too. There's no restore.
Good to know
  • The order is per location. Setting it at one site doesn't reorder the lists at another.
  • Task Aging is fixed once a list is saved. Duplicating is the only way to move a list onto the other setting.
  • A situational list sits in the library until someone starts it for the day, so it's normal for it not to appear on the Tasks page.

Common questions

Can I undo deleting a list?

No. The list, its tasks and its completion history go together, so duplicate it first if you might want it back.

Does reordering affect my other locations?

No. Each location has its own library and its own order.

Who can do this?

Only Admins and Super Admins. Team Members see the library but the controls aren't shown to them.
