I can't delete an incident

I can't delete an incident

Only Admins and Super Admins can delete an incident, and the Delete button is on the incident itself, not on the list.

September 28, 2026

Delete shows only for Admins and Super Admins, only on a saved incident, and only at the bottom of the incident itself. If it isn't there, start with your role.

If you're a Team Member

Team Members don't get Delete. The button is hidden, and the request is turned away with "Access denied. Insufficient permissions." even if you reach the address another way.

Everything else is still yours: change the status, assign the incident, add notes and photos, and email the details out. Ask an Admin or Super Admin at your company to delete it, or to change your role.

If you're looking at the incidents list

There's no delete on the list or on a row. Select the incident to open it, then go to the bottom of the form. Delete sits on the left, across from Cancel and Save.

If the incident hasn't been saved yet

Delete doesn't appear while you're logging a new incident, because there's nothing to remove yet. Select Cancel to drop it instead.

If you want it out of the way, not gone

Deleting an incident is permanent. There's no restore, no deleted-incidents list, and the notes and photos go with it. The only thing standing in the way is a window asking whether you're sure, and then Yes, delete.

If you only want the claim off your active list, set its status to Resolved or Denied. The record stays, it moves to its own tab, and you can still search it up by name, plate, or VIN.

Still stuck? Email contact@washup.solutions or call or text +1 (385) 210-1300.
