Incidents

Find and filter incidents

The list opens on your open claims. Search by name, vehicle, date or reference, use Filters to narrow it, then switch to Resolved/Denied History.

October 15, 2026

Twenty open claims and a customer on the phone asking about theirs. The list is built to get you to one claim fast.

What you'll need

  • Available on the Bundle plan, or on a Custom plan that includes Incidents.
  • Anyone at the location can search and filter. You see the claims for the location you are in.

Search for a claim

Type in Search incidents... at the top of the list. It matches the customer's name, the vehicle's make and model, the reported date in the formats people actually type, and the reference like INC-01148. It also matches the phone number, email, VIN and plate on the claim.

Switch between open and closed

The list opens on claims that are Under Review or In Progress. Select See Resolved/Denied History for the closed ones, and See Open Incidents to come back.

History groups the claims under the date they were closed, so a week's closures read together.

Narrow it down

To filter the list:

  1. Select Filters.
  2. Use Quick Actions for Assigned to Me or Unassigned.
  3. Set any of Status, Priority, Progress, Assigned To and Reported By.
  4. Choose a Sort By order.
  5. Select Apply Filters.

Reported By is the staff member who logged the claim, not the customer. Priority and Progress apply to open claims only, since a closed claim has neither.

Change the order

Sort By offers newest or oldest by the date the incident was reported, or customer name A to Z. Left alone, open claims lead with Under Review and then the most recently reported, and history leads with the most recently closed.

Good to know
  • Hide Details strips the cards back to the essentials when you want the whole list on one screen. It sticks until you turn it back on.
  • A brand new location shows No incidents reported yet with a few pointers instead of an empty list.
  • The list is per location. Claims at your other sites do not appear here, so switch locations to see them.

Common questions

Can I search for a claim by its INC number?

Yes. Type the reference, with or without the dashes and leading zeros, and it comes up.

Why has a claim disappeared from the list?

It was probably closed. Resolved and Denied claims move to Resolved/Denied History.

Can I see claims from all my locations at once?

No. Incidents is per location, so use the location picker to move between sites.
