Services — Major Feature Update

A Cleaner, More Focused Experience

We’ve completely refreshed the Services experience across both list view and calendar view.

The layout is now cleaner, more organized, and easier to navigate so your team can quickly understand what needs to be done.

One of the biggest improvements is how services are displayed.
Instead of showing every scheduled instance, WashUp now shows only the next upcoming instance of each service.

This helps:

  • Reduce clutter
  • Prevent services from piling up visually
  • Keep your team focused on what actually needs to get done next
Better Filtering & Organization

We’ve added more powerful filtering so you can quickly find exactly what you’re looking for.

You can now filter services by:

  • Status (Scheduled, Upcoming, Past Due)
  • Progress (Open, In Progress, On Hold, Completed)
  • Priority (Urgent, High, Normal, Low, None)
  • Wash bay or area
  • Assigned user
  • Unassigned services

This makes it much easier to manage operations across multiple locations and teams.

Progress Tracking & Priority Levels

We’ve added a new layer of control with progress tracking and priority statuses.

Progress options:

  • Open (default)
  • In Progress
  • On Hold
  • Completed (automatically set when finished)

Priority options:

  • Urgent
  • High
  • Normal
  • Low
  • No Priority

This gives your team clear direction on:

  • What needs attention right away
  • What’s currently being worked on
  • What can wait
Smarter Scheduling & Rescheduling

Scheduling services is now more flexible and more accurate.

We’ve improved:

  • How service frequency works
  • How recurring services are generated
  • How easy it is to reschedule

These updates help ensure services are completed at the right time without creating confusion or extra work for your team.

Completion Requirements = More Accountability

You can now require specific actions before a service can be completed.

Available completion requirements:

  • Require completion notes
  • Require photo uploads
  • Restrict visibility/completion to admins only

This helps ensure:

  • Work is properly documented
  • Standards are followed
  • Nothing gets marked complete without verification
Better Context for Your Team

We’ve made it easier for your team to understand exactly what they’re working on.

  • Services now include photo references from My Wash, helping identify the exact equipment or area
  • You can now include links in service instructions (videos, SOPs, external resources)

This reduces confusion and helps your team complete services correctly the first time.

Faster Actions & Sharing

Managing services is now quicker and more flexible.

You can now:

  • Easily edit and update service details
  • Send services via email (internally or externally)
  • Print services or export them as a PDF

This makes it easier to share information with team members, vendors, or anyone outside of WashUp.

Improved Notifications

We’ve updated notifications so your team stays informed without needing to constantly check the app.

Users can now be notified:

  • When a service becomes upcoming
  • The day a service is due
  • When a service becomes past due
  • When a service is assigned to them

This helps keep everyone aligned and on schedule.

Service Completion History

Just as you could before, but now improved and with new features you can now view a full history of each service.

See:

  • When it was completed
  • Who completed it
  • What was submitted (notes, photos, etc.)

This gives you better visibility into your operations and helps improve accountability across your team.

What This Means for You

This update is all about helping you:

  • Keep your team aligned
  • Improve consistency across locations
  • Reduce missed or overdue services
  • Increase accountability and documentation
  • Save time managing day-to-day operations

Final Thoughts

This is one of the biggest updates we’ve made to Services. Everything was built to make it simpler for your team to know what to do, when to do it, and how to do it — without confusion. If you have any questions or want help getting everything set up, feel free to reach out. We’re happy to help.
