Introduction
Keeping your profile information up to date helps ensure smooth communication and proper identification within WashUp. This guide walks you through editing your profile details, uploading a profile picture, and managing your personal information.
Step 1: Accessing Your Profile
- Sign in to your WashUp account.
- Click on your profile located in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar.
- Click Settings. By default, this will open the Profile page.
Step 2: Editing Basic Information
- Update your First Name and Last Name as needed.
- Modify your Email Address if necessary.
Note: Your email address is used for login and account communication. - Add or update your Phone Number.
Step 3: Uploading a Profile Picture
- Click Change Image.
- Select an image file from your device (JPG or PNG recommended).
- Use the cropping tool to adjust your photo as needed.
- Click Save Adjustments to apply your new profile picture.
Step 4: Updating a User’s Role (Super Admin & Admin Only)
- Click on your profile in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar.
- Select Settings, then navigate to Users and Roles.
- Choose the team member whose role you want to update.
- In their User Details, click the Role dropdown.
- Select the appropriate role and save your changes.
Step 5: Saving Your Changes
- Review all updated information.
- Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page to apply your updates.
Important Notes & Tips
- Your profile information (name and photo) is visible to other users in your workspace.
- Use a clear, professional profile photo to help teammates recognize you.
- Keeping your contact information current helps ensure you receive important notifications.
