Your profile is how your team recognises you on a task, an inspection, or a chat message. A photo helps more than you'd think on a crew that changes shift.
What you'll need
- Anyone can edit their own profile. You don't need to be an Admin.
Change your details
To update your profile:
- Select your name in the lower-left corner, then Settings.
If you don't see it, open the side menu first.
- Select Profile.
- Change your First Name, Last Name, or Phone Number.
- Select Save Changes.
Save Changes stays greyed out until you actually change something.
Add a profile picture
Select the upload control under the picture, choose an image, and position it in Adjust Profile Picture. Your picture shows next to your name on schedules, timelines, and assignment pickers.
Change your email address
Your email is the address you sign in with, so WashUp confirms it before switching.
Enter the new address and save. WashUp sends a message to that address and shows Check Your Email to Verify. The change takes effect when you open the link. Until then you keep signing in with the old address.
If you typed it wrong, Cancel Email Change stops the pending switch.
Good to know- First name, last name, phone, and email are all required. None of them can be left blank.
- Changing your email here changes your sign-in. There's no separate username.
- An Admin can't change your email for you. The field is locked on their view of your account.
Common questions
Can I change it later?
Yes, as often as you need. Only the email change has an extra confirmation step.
Who can see my profile picture?
Everyone at your company. It shows beside your name anywhere your work appears.
Does changing my name change my sign-in?
No. Only the email address does that. Your name is a display name.
