How to delete a user’s account

Introduction

Deleting a user account is the recommended way to handle employee departures or permanent access removal. This action immediately removes the user’s ability to sign in to WashUp while keeping all historical data intact for reporting, auditing, and operational continuity.

Step 1: Accessing User Management

1. Sign in to your WashUp account with Admin or Super Admin privileges.
2. Click on your profile located in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar.
3. Select Settings, then open Users and Roles.

Step 2: Locating the User

1. Find the user you want to delete in the user list.
   You can use the search bar to locate them quickly.
2. Click on the user’s name to open their User Details screen.
3. Click the Delete Account button located in the bottom-right corner.
4. Carefully review the confirmation message.
5. Click Delete User to confirm.

The user’s access will be removed immediately.

Important Notes & Tips- Deleting a user immediately logs them out of all active sessions
- A deleted user’s historical data (reports, inspections, tasks, and activity logs) is fully preserved
- Deleting a user does not remove or alter past records tied to that user
- This action is intended for permanent access removal—only delete users who no longer need access
