A Better Way to Manage Users in WashUp

We’ve rolled out a major upgrade to the Users & Roles section in WashUp, giving you more control over your team and making user management faster, easier, and more self-service. This has been one of the most requested improvements, and it’s built to remove friction and give admins full visibility into their account.

Full Visibility Into Your Team

The Active Users table has been significantly improved with updates to existing features and the addition of new ones. It now includes:

  • Name and contact information
  • Role (Super Admin, Admin, Team Member)
  • Assigned locations
  • Last active status (*New)
  • Account setup status, including pending users

We’ve also improved sorting so users who still need to complete setup are shown at the top, making it easier to follow up and get your team fully onboarded.

Deleted Users — Now Fully Accessible

We’ve introduced a new Deleted Users table.

Instead of permanently removing users, WashUp now uses a soft delete system, meaning:

  • Deleted users are safely stored for record keeping
  • You can see who deleted the user and when
  • Emails tied to deleted users are preserved and cannot be reused unless the user is restored

This gives you better control, better tracking, and prevents accidental data loss.

Restore Users Instantly — No Support Needed

Super Admins and Admins can now restore deleted users directly from the app without needing to contact support.

When restoring a user, you can see:

  • Who the user is
  • When they were deleted
  • Who deleted them

With a single action, the user is restored back into your account.

More Improvements to User Management

Export Your User Roster
You can now export a full list of your users, including key contact details and WashUp data for reporting or internal use.

Extended Invite Window (30 Days)
New users now have 30 days to create their account instead of the previous 24 hours, giving your team more flexibility during onboarding.

Easier User Creation
Adding new users is now more intuitive, especially when assigning them to locations during setup.

Copy Invitation Links
If a user is having trouble finding their invite email, you can now copy and share the invitation link directly.

Cancel Pending Invites
Admins can now cancel invitations that have not been accepted, helping keep your user list clean and accurate.

Copy Password Reset Links
If a user is not receiving a password reset email, you can now generate and share the reset link manually.

Last Active Field
A new Last Active field allows admins to quickly see when users were last active in WashUp.

Smarter User Sorting
Users who have not completed setup are now shown at the top of the list, making it easier to manage onboarding.

Why This Matters

This update is designed to give you more control, better visibility, and less reliance on support when managing your team. Everything you need to manage users is now centralized, faster, and easier to use.
